Think for a minute about turning on a light. Provided you’re close enough to the switch, all you do is reach and press the button and the light comes on. Simple. Easy. I propose that we’re all close enough to the switch, whatever ‘the switch’ may be. No matter how long you wait, the light will never turn itself on.
